Below is a list of members of the Safe Sleep Space Alliance Network, a community of qualified professionals and educators dedicated to Infant & Toddler Safe Sleep and settling. All members have been reviewed by Safe Sleep Space and practice an Infant Mental Health Approach to sleep & settling.
Participation in our Alliance Network is by application. This ensures a good cultural fit between network members and the vision, mission and goals of Safe Sleep Space and our parent company Ternity Group.

My name is Catherine Thompson, and I am an experienced Baby Sleep Consultant with over 15 years experience and a mother of 2 young girls. I provide families with the knowledge, processes and confidence to help their babies find sleep more easily. My belief is that all babies have different requirements when it comes to sleep, however the frustration and anxiety caused from a lack of sleep can take its toll and I am passionate in helping families resolve this so they can focus on the joys of parenting.

Justine has over 15 Years’ experience in Early Childhood Education, working in many roles within the sector, from Educator, to Centre Manager and as an Area Manager. During this time Justine has had the privilege of working with children from birth to 5 years old and has two children of her own. As a qualified Sleep Consultant Justine’s method for sleep and settling is responsive, emotionally sensitive and focused on meeting children’s needs individually. Yael Sunshine,
Infant & Toddler Sleep Consultant
Yael Sunshine is a child development specialist and pediatric sleep consultant. She holds an MA in Child Development from the University of Haifa and a BS in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Vermont.
Yael is certified by the Blunden Responsive Gentle Methods of Sleep Settling (GeMSS) and has completed the Safe Sleep Space course.
Yael’s holistic approach fluidly blends the science of parenting with attachment theory. Passionate about helping families with young children navigate nighttime and daytime struggles, Yael brings the latest research down to earth with a bit of humor.

As a sleep consultant I have a wealth of experience in helping families adjust to having a newborn baby and the challenges of infancy into early childhood. I have worked extensively with families for the past 20+ years providing knowledge and support in understanding their little ones.
I have worked both in community and hospital settings as a Registered Nurse, Midwife, Child & Family Health Nurse, Nanny & Sleep Consultant. I would love to assist you with a gentle and responsive approach to supporting your baby to sleep. I am passionate about providing nurturing care to each and every baby’s unique temperament, using an approach that fosters the infant’s emotional and cognitive development.

Vikki enjoys getting to know families and provides individualised approaches to help raise children.
Phone/video/home consults are available to support parenting, focusing on infant/child development and their needs.
For 20+yrs, Vikki has worked as a Registered Nurse (child) in many different specialist Children’s wards and Community Child Health settings. For over a decade Vikki has developed ways to promote healthy brain development and how to understand the emotional and social communication needs of children.
Vikki is a Certified Newborn Behavioral Observations clinician, Infant Massage educator, Parent-Infant Relationship educator, Circle of Security parent facilitator, Solihull Approach facilitator, Infant and Toddler Sleep consultant, UNICEF breast feeding advisor, Cleft lip and palate specialist and is also trained in Autistic Diagnostic Observation Schedule.

Lactation & Parenting Consultant
I am genuine, respectful, optimistic and offer empathy to all my families. I have a practical, no fuss approach, keeping it simple focusing on your needs and what you’re aiming to achieve. When helping you establish or maintain breastfeeding I use a hands-off approach, with lots of encouragement and reassurance. This ensures when I leave, you have confidence and can continue to practice what feels right for you. I find home visits offer flexibility to work in with your busy day and ensure the resources you already have become the tools we work with.
I am pleased to say most of my clients have found one visit is all they need. Every parent and baby is important to me so follow up support in the days or weeks after my visit via phone call or text forms part of my service.
